Jessica Healey (Junior)

Jessica is a distinguished dancer whose career has been marked by a passion for movement, a commitment to excellence, and a remarkable journey through the world of dance. Born with an innate sense of rhythm and a love for artistic expression, Jessica's journey as a dancer has been nothing short of extraordinary.

From the early age of 18 months, Jessica exhibited a natural love and talent for dance, capturing the attention of instructors and peers alike with her grace and precision. Her formal dance education began at the prestigious Centre Stage Dance Studio, one of the largest and more elite in the area at the time of her upbringing, where she embarked on a comprehensive training program that laid the foundation for her future success. Under the guidance of seasoned instructors, Jessica honed her technical skills in various dance forms, including ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, tap, acrobatics, gymnastics, and cheerleading as well as completing BAL ballet examinations and Glenn Wood tap examinations. Jessica's main strengths and focus are primarily on hip hop, jazz, cheerleading and contemporary.

Jessica's unwavering commitment to her craft paved the way for an entrepreneurial venture that showcased her leadership and vision. At the age of 18 in 2018, she founded her own cheerleading and dance school, a testament to her passion for fostering talent and spreading the joy of movement. Today, her school stands as a beacon of excellence in the local community, recognised as one of the leading institutions in the area. This bold step not only showcased Jessica's determination but also marked a significant chapter in her journey, where she not only deepened her understanding of dance through academic pursuits but actively contributed to the growth and development of aspiring dancers in her own school.

With a solid foundation in both academia and practical experience, Jessica emerged not just as a well-rounded dancer but also as a visionary leader making a lasting impact on the dance and cheerleading community.

Throughout her career, Jessica has accumulated a string of impressive performance credits that showcase her versatility and talent.

One of her early breakthroughs came with a role in the critically acclaimed production of "Grease The Musical," as a main ensemble dancer. Following this success, Jessica joined the renowned JLD Entertainment agency, and also joined the NRL Cheerleading scene as a professional dancer.

Over the course of many years, she achieved remarkable success, securing numerous state and national titles, international BIDS, the highest scoring routine, dancer of the eisteddfod, and a number of other prestigious awards.

In addition to her stage accomplishments, Jessica has been a dedicated advocate for dance education. She has conducted workshops and masterclasses, sharing her expertise with aspiring dancers, as well as learning from them, and fostering a love for the art form in the next generation.

Jessica's dedication to her craft, combined with her artistic sensibility and technical brilliance, continues to make her a standout figure in the world of dance.
