Kathryne Eden

Kathryne graduated from the University of NSW with a Bachelor of Dance and Bachelor of Education. While in Sydney she worked with industry greats including Sandy Sellers, Georgie Sheppard, Patrick Harding-Irmer, David Spurgeon and more.


Returning to Canberra, she gained Cert IV in Fitness (FIA), ATOD Affiliate Membership, and Glenn Wood Tap registered teacher, Gold Ready Set Dance, Ballet, Acro and Move registered teacher.


Kathryne also worked with the Canberra Cannons and Canberra Raiders as a cheerleader and Dance Captain. She has choreographed musicals for Karabar High School, Junior and Senior Dance Ensembles for Queanbeyan Performing Arts Festival, choreographed for Southern Stars and School Spectacular. Kathryne has received 12 CAT Award Nominations over the years for costume design, choreography and ensembles.


Kathryne is the Artistic Director for Tap for the International Performing Arts and Theatre, and wrote the new Broadway Tap Syllabus that was launched in 2024. She is now training teachers to teach I-PATH tap and will be examining.


Kathryne believes in providing thoughtful and productive feedback to help performers achieve their goals. She is dedicated to encouraging a high technical standard while performers develop their own personal style through creative expression to create the next generation of choreographers and dancers.
