With over three decades dedicated to the art of dance teaching, Paula emerges as a luminary figure in the realm of dance education, choreography, and mentorship. Her multifaceted career encapsulates her roles as a distinguished dance teacher, visionary choreographer, and esteemed educator, who is both trained and educated in all genres of dance.


Currently serving as the dance coordinator at Trinity College, Paula not only shapes the artistic landscape within the institution but also pioneers a shift in the perception of gender roles in dance. Her progressive approach fosters inclusivity and empowers students to challenge traditional norms, embracing their individuality and expression.

As the co-founder of Project Arrival, Paula spearheads a groundbreaking initiative that empowers aspiring dancers through a contemporary lens. This youth dance company serves as a platform for talent and creativity, nurturing the next generation of artists while instilling in them a fervent dedication to artistic excellence.


Her contributions extend beyond the confines of a single institution. Paula is a senior teacher at Valerie Heston School of Dance and her influence extends to the academic sphere, where she serves as a sessional lecturer at the renowned Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).


Paula's dedication to dance transcends borders, as evidenced by her instrumental role in establishing the dance curriculum at Mercedes College and her engagements as a teacher and adjudicator in international locales such as Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Through her global endeavours, she enriches the dance community with her unique perspective and unwavering commitment to the art form.


Paula's illustrious career stands as a testament to her unwavering passion for dance and her steadfast commitment to nurturing the next generation of dance artists. Paula was also the recipient of the Australian Dance Education Award, Teacher of the Year in 2024 & 2025 (Gold & Silver).
